Effective September 14, 2026 · fitOS: Workout & Daily Planner
fitOS is operated by Pique D. Most workout planning and history are stored on your iPhone. Account services and shared challenges use Supabase. Optional weather, maps, Health and calendar features process the information needed for those features.
Workout and planning information
Your plans, exercise selections, logged sets, workout history, notes, recorded routes, reminders and app preferences are primarily stored on your device. The app does not automatically upload your full workout history or GPS routes to the shared challenge service. Information may also be included in device backups according to your Apple settings. JSON backups are saved or shared only where you choose.
Accounts and private challenges
If you sign in, Google and Supabase process account information such as your email address, name, account identifier and authentication tokens. Sign-in credentials are handled by the authentication providers; fitOS does not receive your Google password.
When you create or join a shared challenge, Supabase stores the challenge details, membership, participant name, contribution total, source label and update time. Other members can see those shared details. A person with an invitation code can preview the challenge after signing in and may join if space and the challenge period allow. Only send invitations to people you intend to include.
The app shares challenge totals rather than your individual weights, exercises, notes, Health measurements, calendar events or recorded route coordinates. Signing out does not delete your account or previously shared contributions.
Location, weather and maps
With your permission, fitOS uses location for outdoor workout tracking and nearby map or trail features. An active outdoor recording can continue while the phone is locked. Recorded routes stay on the device unless you export or otherwise share them.
Weather requests send latitude and longitude rounded to two decimal places to Open-Meteo. Apple Maps services process location and destination requests when you use maps, nearby search or directions. Service providers also receive technical network information, such as an IP address, when your device connects.
Apple Health, calendar, Watch and reminders
Health and calendar access are optional. With permission, fitOS reads selected Health information to show workout and recovery information and can save completed workouts to Apple Health. Health measurements are not sent to the challenge leaderboard or used for advertising.
Calendar access lets the app show selected events and, if enabled, write scheduled workouts. The Watch companion receives workout and route information from the iPhone. Alarms, notifications and lock-screen activities can display workout or schedule details on your devices; control their visibility and permissions in iPhone settings.
Service providers and diagnostics
fitOS uses Apple services, Google sign-in, Supabase for authentication and challenges, and Open-Meteo for weather. These providers process information under their own policies and may process it outside your country. Operational logs may contain account identifiers, connection information and error details. If you submit TestFlight feedback or diagnostic reports, Apple may share those reports and the information you include with the developer.
The app does not include advertising or a third-party advertising-tracking SDK. We do not sell your workout or Health information. This privacy website has no analytics scripts or forms; its hosting provider processes technical requests needed to deliver the page.
Your choices, retention and deletion
- Use the local workout planner without an account, and decline optional permissions. Some related features will then be unavailable.
- Revoke location, Health, calendar and notification access through your device settings. Manage data already written to Apple Health or Calendar in those apps.
- Export your app data from Settings → Export all data as JSON. Anyone who receives that file can read the information it contains, including stored workout and route records.
- Deleted local items may remain in Recently deleted & undo. Reset all data clears local workout data; it does not delete your online account, copies in other apps or backups you exported.
- Contact pique3005@gmail.com from the account email to request access, correction or deletion of your online account and associated challenge data. We may need to verify the request before acting.
Local information remains until you remove it or the app’s data. Online account and challenge records are retained to provide those services until removed in response to a verified request or service administration. Provider backups or operational records may remain for their applicable retention periods. Other people may retain information or screenshots you have shared with them.
Security and policy changes
The app uses secure network connections to its services and device security features for stored sign-in tokens. No storage or transmission method can guarantee complete security. Keep your device and account protected.
We will update this page when the app’s data practices change and revise the effective date. Privacy questions or requests can be sent to pique3005@gmail.com.
